RESOLVED that Councillor Nick Churchill is elected as Chairman for the meeting.

Determination of an Application for a Private Hire Driver Licence - Applicant A

The Sub-Committee received a report on an application for a private hire driver’s licence.

 

Members of the Sub-Committee considered the report and the evidence presented by the Officers, the applicant and his witness to determine the case in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.

 

RESOLVED that the applicant is deemed to be a “fit and proper” person and is therefore permitted to continue with the remainder of the licensing process for a private hire driver’s licence.

Members of the Sub-Committee considered the report and the evidence presented by Officers and the applicant to determine the case in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.

It was noted that the application in question was for a Hackney Carriage driver licence and not a private hire licence as stated in the report. 

 

The Sub-Committee received the report on an application for a Hackney Carriage driver’s licence.

 

Members of the Sub-Committee considered the report and the evidence presented by Officers, the applicant and his witnesses to determine the case in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.

 

RESOLVED that the applicant is deemed to be a “fit and proper” person and is therefore permitted to continue with the remainder of the licensing process for a Hackney Carriage driver’s licence.
