RESOLVED that the Portfolio Holder:

 

A    Approved the introduction and the running of a local good causes lottery (to   include all licensing application requirements).

 

B    Agreed the appointment of an External Lottery Manager (ELM) and that Gatherwell be appointed to carry out that role through the award of a contract initially of no more than 3 years duration, with costs not to exceed £20,000.

 

C    Delegated authority to the Council’s Section 151 Officer or their named deputy to act as Personal Management Licence (PML) holder per Gambling Commission requirements.

 

D    Waived the requirements of Contract Standing Order 9.7.b for the reasons set out in this report.

The Council is seeking to introduce innovative processes or opportunity to raise money and awareness in support of local good causes.
