The Sub Committee considered an application made by Balqees Akhtar under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 (“The Act”) for a premises licence in respect of Imran Newsagents & General Stores, 1 The Marriots, The Hoo, Harlow, CM17 0HT. The application had been referred to the Sub Committee following relevant representations which were received during the consultation period.

Having carefully considered all of the evidence presented by the Council’s Licensing Officer, the applicant, the applicant’s representative and four objectors and the conditions which the applicant had agreed with Essex Police in communications before the Licensing Sub Committee it was:

RESOLVED that a modified premises licence was granted including the conditions as agreed with Essex Police and the following varied hours:
