72.	Declarations of Interest Councillors’ declarations of interest (if any) in relation to any items on the agenda. Minutes: Councillors Frances Mason and Nancy Watson declared a non-pecuniary interest as one of the objectors was the Vice Chair of the Harlow Labour Party and they knew them in a party-political capacity as fellow members of the Executive of the Harlow Labour Party. The declarations were put to the Applicant who was happy to proceed.

Members of the Sub Committee considered the report and the evidence presented to the hearing by the applicant, the applicant’s agent, the applicant’s wife, the director of Ermans Kitchen and objectors to the application. In line with the procedure, Sub Committee members retired to consider the case, accompanied by the committee clerk and the Sub Committee’s legal advisors. The Sub Committee reconvened in public session to give its decision which would be confirmed in writing within five working days.
