RESOLVED that Councillor James Griggs was elected as Chair for the meeting.

RESOLVED that the following items be taken in private session on the grounds that they are likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as specified under Paragraph 1 of Part One of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, if and so long as in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing information.

RESOLVED that the procedure for the meeting was noted.

The Sub Committee considered an application made by Burnt Mill Snooker and Social Club Limited under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 (“The Act”) for a new premises licence in respect of Burnt Mill Snooker and Social Club, Edinburgh Way, Harlow, CM20 2DQ The application had been referred to the Sub Committee following relevant representations were received during the consultation period. 

Having carefully considered all of the evidence presented by the Council’s Licensing Officers, the applicant and one objector it was:

RESOLVED that the application for a new premises license be granted.
